GoBe Consultants Ltd is an innovative and dynamic marine planning and environmental consultancy based near Exeter in the South-West of England.
Founded in 2009 by its Directors Steve Bellew and Tim Golding, GoBe specialises in providing high quality strategic and project specific planning & environmental advice to the offshore development industries with a particular focus on marine renewable energy developments, including Round 2 and 3 offshore wind farms, and the marine aggregate dredging industry.
Our work includes advising on consenting and development strategies, understanding
and advising on marine policy, project managing and producing environmental impact assessments and consent applications, stakeholder liaison and managing regulatory compliance.
Our current project work includes the project management of
large offshore developments including Round 1, 2 and 3 offshore wind farms,
other marine renewables, marine aggregate dredging applications, port
developments and conventional energy plant.
This work also entails the scoping of a variety of technical studies,
project managing sub-contractors, liaison and negotiations with a variety of
consultees and drafting, implementing quality control and reviewing environmental
statements and accompanying technical documents.
We are currently project managing and providing technical support during the
post-consent and Examination Phases for a number of offshore wind farm applications and associated electrical infrastructure projects. We are also providing overall project management as lead EIA consultants for the Triton Knoll Electrical System providing project management of the EIA and consent application for all aspects of the scheme, both onshore and offshore. This continues the long term support GoBe have provided RWE during the constraints analysis, application and examination phases of the Triton Knoll Array.
