Following on from the successful consenting of the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm, for which GoBe provided examination strategy advice, fish ecology expert witness services, and stakeholder liaison/consultation support, GoBe are delighted that the Triton Knoll Electrical System has also received successful consent. GoBe have continued to support the project in providing strategic and technical support in the development of the scoping report, preliminary information report, Environmental Statement, and Public Examination phases of the Triton Knoll Electrical System.
A key area of GoBe support has been the innovative approach to development of a project Evidence Plan. Evidence Plans have been utilised in a number of recent projects to aid in the discussion of ecological topic areas; the approach adopted by RWE Innogy with GoBe support has been to broaden the Evidence Plan remit and facilitate discussion of all key topic areas. Widely endorsed by the statutory advisory bodies the innovative approach has enabled significant progress in discussion of the evidence base in advance of the PEI and final application phases.
GoBe staff members fulfilled a number of roles on the Triton Knoll Electrical System project including: Overall EIA project management, offshore EIA project management, offshore stakeholder liaison, drafting of technical offshore chapters including benthic, fish and shellfish, marine ornithology, marine mammals, GIS provision, and development of a bespoke digital document application for the PEI consultation phase.
GoBe staff are now continuing to support the project in providing offshore post-consent compliance guidance, including drafting monitoring plans, post-consent programme, and strategic compliance support.
